My name is  Jean-Maurice. If you are going to hire me, you should also know who I am.

First of all, I am French. But also very proud to be a US citizen. I am telling you this so that when we talk you are not surprised by my Gaelic accent.

I have started taking Picture at the tender age of 14 as an apprentice in France. Working with many master photographers, I honed my craft doing weddings, portraits, and nature photography in England, Ireland, Spain and of course France.

Upon coming to America, I continued my education with seminars, and workshops shooting side by side, with some of the world best photographers. I wanted to open my own business. Since we capture slices of time, I decided to call it " Time Passages Photography ".

We (my assitants and I) specialize in photojournalistic, contemporary, natural, and unobtrusive wedding photography. This means that most photos are taken as the events unfold with little or no posing.

However, we also think that some posed pictures with family and friends are essential. So we will provide those as well; often using landscape features and striking architecture as natural backdrops.

Our photography style is to approach your wedding with a fresh perspective that documents your special day and reveals spontaneous expressions and emotions. 

To me, a wedding is about so much more than the scheduled events that take place. It's also about those unexpected moments that you will not find on any “shoot list” -- moments that make your wedding unique and that you will remember for years to come.
