I wanted a sash for my Monique L'Hullier bridal gown, but refused to pay retail prices. I also waited until two weeks before the wedding to purchase. I was so glad to have found Your Dream Dress! Kimberly, the owner, was professional, courteous, and frankly, my new best friend. She knew the style and material of the dress, and suggested that I go with either the Bridal White or the Champagne sash, the latter of which is very "in" with bridal gown designers. She also offered to send me both of them via Overnight mail so that I could try them on, which I did. Kimberly was so nice and understanding, she even offered to give me three weeks after the wedding to return the unused sash.I ended up using the bridal white, which matched my gown perfectly and looked absolutely stunning. I highly recommend that you contact Kimberly and Your Dream Dress for all accessories. The quality and service were unprecedented.

Your Dream Dress is a seller of couture sample (or overstocked) dresses on ebay. Having bought two wedding dresses on ebay, I highly highly recommend getting your dress through them if you are looking for a discounted designer dress. I bought a gorgeous Ann Barge silk satin A-line dress with Alencon lace overlay for $800 - when it originally sold for $3800. I was thrilled with it, and received many compliments on my wedding day.Generally, when buying a dress on ebay, beware buying from an individual who has worn the dress. Often, the dress hasn't been cleaned (and doing so could prove difficult, costly, or unsatisfactory), or cleaning hasn't fully removed all the dirt (as happened to me).Also, I ended up paying through the nose for alterations ($600 in total). Part of this was because I first took the dress to a tailor, not a seamstress, and he screwed it up. I then had to pay to repair his mistakes. Ugh. I also had to pay a lot to have the dress shortened - because the front panel of lace was a single panel, the seamstress had to meticulously cut off the bottom embroidered edge and then move it up (but she did such a beautiful job that you couldn't even tell that it had been altered). That was really expensive, so keep that in mind if you want a dress with lace. Otherwise, most alterations (taking in, letting out, adding a bustle) are pretty standard and inexpensive.
