JDK was a pleasure to work with from the start!! The planning process with David, Emma and JoAnn was great- very laid back and stress free! All three listened closely to our vision and made it a reality on the day of our wedding!!! We can't thank JDK enough for making our day so special and memorable! Everything was beyond amazing: the food, the flowers, the aisle decor, and the tables and linens! Our guests would not stop gushing about how gorgeous everything was and how delicious the food was!!!! JDK is an outstanding caterer/ florist! Thank you again for everything !!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with Weddings by JDK (specifically with David and JoAnn). They treated my wedding ceremony and reception as a priority. On what I thought was a small-to-average budget, they gave me the wedding of my dreams. They helped me be cost-conscious and direct my budget to what really mattered - and achieved a unique look just for my event. The day of my wedding I had nothing to worry about...they set-up, flipped the ceremony space, and picked up at the end of the night. I truly recommend that in the Lancaster/Harrisburg area you meet with JDK for flowers and design before you go elsewhere. It was the best experience I could have hoped for!

Weddings by JDK just came through with great class for my December wedding. They spent significant time with me going over each detail with me and making sure nothing was missed. The quality of their work, their food, and floral arranging were above and beyond my expectation. Every question and concern was handled in a timely manner to help me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend them for any occasion.

David Everett and the weddings by JDK staff were phenomenal. We have heard nothing but the most wonderful comments from everyone of our family and friends regarding how our wedding reception was done.  These were not your every wedding day comments like 'this is so nice'......more along the lines of 'oh my God, this place is incredible-how did you guys do this????  People were raving about the food, and every bit of attention to every detail. We truly had no worries and everything ran like clock work. We enjoyed our day so much, just wish it could have lasted longer.   David, we are forever grateful to you and the staff for everything.  Thank you so much for working with me at each meeting and the countless emails in between. You and the JDK Staff made our wedding vision an absolutely perfect reality!!! Rob and I loved working with you!!!!

What a pleasure it was to work with JDK. They truly helped to make our wedding reception one of a kind and one that was so memorable with many great touches. David is so great to work with. He responds to questions and emails very promptly and gives great ideas and recommendations to help make all of your wedding dreams come true. My husband and I were thrilled with what they did at our reception from the special lighting to the table overlays, dessert table decorations and stage design. What a fairy tale wedding reception we had because of David and the JDK team. We love looking at the pictures of our reception and seeing all of the special touches in the background. They are so prompt with setting things up and work great with the other vendors. I am so happy that we went with Weddings by JDK to help with our reception design! I cannot say enough great things about them. What an honor it was to work with such a wonderful company!

David Everett and the staff at Weddings by JDK were an absolute pleasure to work with. From the moment I met with David, I knew that JDK was the only team that could successfully execute everyone of our wishes for our wedding day. Our guests are still raving about the food and the cheaf's creativity. Turning my husband's favorite meal (Thanksgiving dinner) into a single bite appetizer made for one very happy groom. JDK also designed our flowers and they were spectacular! The entire staff was so professional and David went above and beyond to be sure that we were happy from our first meeting until the end of our reception. I can't wait for an opportunity to work with this incredibly talented team again!

When my fiance and I set out to do the impossible, we called David Everett and the team at JDK to help us plan our dream wedding in less than 8 weeks. With no time to waste, David went to work finding the perfect venue, decor and menu options to fit our budget. His impeccable taste, charming personality and attention to detail gave our wedding the extra 'wow' factor that come with months, if not years, of meticulous planning. Weddings By JDK did a FABULOUS job on our flower bouquets, centerpieces and reception decorations. They thought outside of the box and gave us a very unique design and concept that had never been done at the venue we rented before. The reception was held in Harrisburg, PA but the room looked like it belonged in the middle of NYC. It turned out wonderful and we received so many compliments on both the design of the room, the atmosphere it created and the flowers which were in full bloom and couldn't have been a better quality. JDK was professional to work with the entire time and they were very flexible with last minute changes and additions. I highly recommend their services. They pride themselves in giving each couple a very unique and one of a kind experience. I don't believe you will be disappointed by their quality of work.

JDK took on our wedding totally last minute as we were having issues with the caterer we initially booked. David was amazing and did everything in his power to ensure our wedding was beyond perfect. He and his team were able to make everything go so smoothly, even with booking them only a few weeks before our event. Everything was gorgeous and we are still receiving compliments! :) Thanks for helping making our day wonderful!

My husband and I were blessed to have Amanda and Weddings by JDK plan and set up for our wedding. Our day was better than we ever even imagined thanks to their attention to detail, and ability to perfectly execute our wedding plans. Amanda was extremely patient and attentive to all of our wants and needs for our big day and she was even able to add in her own special touches to our reception site that fit perfectly into our beach themed wedding. Amanda and Weddings by JDK absolutely nailed it and I would recommend them to any bride and groom who are looking for a perfect wedding ceremony and reception.

JDK was great! First of all the food was excellent! I have worked in the industry myself for 13 years and had very high expectations of the food. I was certainly impressed! Providing top notch food for a venue of a 100 people is not easy, and JDK excelled! The service was very attentive and detailed without being intrusive! The whole staff seemed to really love what they do and being a part of a couple's big day! Secondly the design...WOW! We wanted a wedding design that was a little different. I wanted lots of candlelight and the look of an elegant dinner party with a mod twist. Kim, our event planner with JDK, knew exactly what were going for and really got into the design element, pulling linens and chairs and running with it! It was beautiful, more than I imagined it could be. She was so helpful, and very professional! She has a personality that is so refreshing to work with! JDK was also very flexible with us! We were adding people to the guest list 2 days before and they were so sweet about the last minute changes! Also working with my father ( who paid for the wedding) isn't always easy and even I was impressed on how well they worked with him! Take it from someone who has worked in this industry for over a decade and knows most of the catering companies and restaurantuers in the Harrisburg area..JDK is the best!

I love Weddings by JDK! They were awesome to work with. David was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He made things a lot easier and I knew I didnt have to worry about anything on my wedding day!! All my guest loved the food! My flowers were absolutely goregous as well. I would definitely recommend Weddings by JDK to anyone who is getting married! I am so glad that we picked Weddings by JDK as the cater for our wedding :)

David Everett and the site manager Keith did an amazing job with our wedding. They managed to continue the weddig on smoothly and beautifully despite Hurricane Irene going on around us. Their caterer made extremely good food and was really good about making the menu to our liking. The service provided by the wait staff was perfect, too. I would recommend them to anyone.

Where to even start!?! I can't say enough about David Everett and the entire JDK staff. We worked with JDK on absolutely everything from the rehearsal dinner to the reception, from the food to the flowers, linens, rentals and design. EVERYTHING surpassed our expectations and our wedding weekend was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. The only word I can describe things and as cliche as it is to say, is perfect. I had more people come up to me at the wedding to comment on how amazing the food was, how elegant the design was and just how seamless everything was. Given that our event was outside at the Peter Allen House the evening that Hurricane Irene showed up in Central PA, this says a lot. Our guests had no idea it was even raining outside... Words can't express our gratitude to David and JDK. They truly are experts at what they do, but beyond that, they are genuinely sincere, great, GREAT people.

Out of all of the vendors we had for our event, JDK was the most outstanding! Our event planner (David Everett) was extremely pleasant to work with, responsive, accomodating, and willing to work with us over each minute detail. He was flexible with our budget, and was willing to change things at our whim. On the day of the event, the staff exceeded our expectations. We had rain for an outdoor rehersal (they also catered the rehersal dinner), and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a place to do our rehersal and have a place for the dinner afterwards. For our wedding day, we always had someone there that was more than willing to go out of their way to make sure we were happy and that everything was taken care of for us. There's not enough good things to say! Thank you JDK!!

David E. is amazing. JDK did my florals, design, lighting, and linens. Everything was better than I imagined and perfect. They are easy to work with and always thinking ahead. He is great at cost cutting if needed and finding the best way to spend your money for the most WOW! I can't imagine not having JDK to provide these services as all my guests were in shock at how beautiful my reception looked! Thank you so much, David!

Kate and I had nothing short of a perfect wedding experience and enjoyed a wonderful working relationship with Amanda. She has the charm and temperament for the role. We laughed a lot and had fun and yet walked away from each planning meeting convinced she had all under control. Amanda possesses a special creative mind for this work. Kate and I were so very impressed with her ability to manage all the details despite our throwing in changes to the plan. Given all the stress of having friends and family in from literally around the world, not to mention jobs that demanded our attention, there was no panic regarding the wedding itself, as we knew Amanda had all under control. I cannot tell you how many friends and family have told us that it was hands down the most elegant and creative wedding they had ever attended. A month later, Kate and I are still awe struck by the experience. We can honestly say that it was even more lovely than we knew it would be. Laurie, who delivered our cake has dropped off cakes at hundreds of weddings and she remarked that it was without question one of the most lovely venues she had ever witnessed. There is much more we could detail regarding the experience and the service. We would highly recommend Amanda and JDK to anyone seeking an event planner. Amanda is a doll and we have decided to adopt her. Our experience was simply divine and in Amanda you have a wonderfully gifted planner. She serves as a great spokesperson for JDK.

JDK was pretty much the perfect caterer. The food was not only delicious, but they had great, innovative ways to present everything. The service was unbeatable, and they were there for any of our needs. They were our florist, caterer and we got our rentals through them. They even gave us ways to plan for the wedding. They paid great attention to detail and they go above and beyond what you would expect from your caterer. JDK was a one-stop shop, which makes your planning easier because you deal with one person. We would highly recommend JDK to anyone planning a wedding or any other event.

I have no complaints about JDK. Everything they did enhanced our wedding day. David is friendly and easy to work with. They made sure everything was prepared, visited the ceremony site with me before hand and even worked with the owner of the bed and breakfast so that I did not have to. The food and service were excellent and the flower arrangements were incredible. Thank you JDK for helping to make our wedding day a dream come true.

I live in New York and decided to have my wedding in my hometown area and wasn't sure I would find a vendor who lived up to my expectations. My mother and I attended the JDK showcase and from there it was history. I saw pictures of David Everett's work and he spoke about his experience and from there I knew I had to have him work on my wedding. David was nothing short of amazing and he worked with my ideas and made them into a reality that day and it was better than I could have hoped for. Anyone would be lucky to have David work on their wedding because he truly makes any of your wedding dreams come true and is an amazing person and now friend to work with. We used Weddings by JDK for our food, flowers, and decor. Working with David throughout the past year and a half made wedding planning for us a breeze. I cannot imagine using any other vendor for our wedding day. It truly was a magical day that I will remember for the rest of my life. JDK made our wedding come true and was so much more than we could have expected. The day went smoothly and we didn't have a care in the world but to enjoy the day. We had tons of guests compliment the food-which was unique and I don't believe another caterer could top what JDK did for us that day.
