Susan was the first vendor I contacted after getting engaged. Once I met her, I knew my search was over. Even though my vision for our wedding evolved over the 16 month engagement, right from that first moment she "got it". Whatever that "it" was, her motto (in that sweet Texas accent) was "we'll get it done your way, it's your vision!" We had a blast working together! Her timely correspondence, meticulous organization, and genuine spunky spirit were invaluable. She helped us put together a fantastic group of professionals to give us the day we will never forget. Throughout the process, she played the role of supporter, cheerleader, "tough cookie" enforcer, therapist, diplomat, and most importantly, friend. It was obvious to us and our families that she wasn't just doing a job, but that she truly cares about this momentous part of people's lives and wants you to have "your wedding, your way." We were able to relax and enjoy our wedding day, take in the moment, and spend valuable time with our friends and family and each other because she worked so seamlessly with every vendor we'd hired. We are so grateful to Susan and Patrick for that level of excellence and teamwork. Hire Susan Moran...trust me, she rocks!!!

The first day I met Susan from That’s It Wedding Concepts, I instantly knew my wedding would be in good hands with her. Susan has a very motherly approach and treats her clients as if they were her own children. She went above and beyond what our contract agreements were to ensure that our wedding was executed without a single bump in the road. She is extremely detail oriented and organized and has many past experiences to share with her clients helping them to develop the exact wedding they desire. There wasn’t a single detail that was overlooked in the wedding. And when we showed up to the reception, there were even a few extra surprises for us that she had done on her own to make our day extra special.
During the week of our wedding, horrible flooding consumed the region where we were getting married. We were unsure if we were even going to be able to get to the location where we were scheduled to get married due to roads being flooded out. Two days prior to the wedding Susan spent all day long making calls to local establishments, creating a back up plan for our wedding and reception if our original plan had fallen through. The day was chaotic due to our out of town guests flying in and trying to get all of the last minute details taken care of. I just can’t imagine what I would have done without a wedding planner to help me during this unforeseen situation. At the end of that day, though it was extremely stressful, I was very thankful that nine months before then I decided to hire That’s It Wedding Concepts to help orchestrate the most important day of my life. Every dollar spent on this vendor was a dollar spent extremely well. You never know what last minute conundrum may crop up and try to ruin your special celebration. Having a wedding planner available to help you through unforeseen circumstances is priceless. My husband and I would highly recommend hiring That’s It Wedding Concepts to ensure the perfect execution of the most special day of your life.

Within minutes of meeting Susan Moran my husband and I knew that we wanted her to handle the wedding of our son and his fiance. Her warm southern charm, friendly demeanor, and ease of communication immediately convinced us that she was the one. Yes, we had previously interviewed others, but out search stopped with Susan.
Since our situation involved a perspective bride and groom who lived out of state, the bride's family who lived in Taiwan, we parents of the groom who never expected to plan a wedding and the ceremony taking place in Harrisburg...we knew we needed help!
Chris and Chieh were hesitant at first to involve a wedding planner, but after meeting with Susan they were immediately charmed as well. They knew their wedding would proceed their way with her guidance.
Susan made recommendations, aided us in the choice of vendors, and contacted them when any issues arose. She helped us to be organized with lists of duties for each of us, gently made suggestions for musicians, baby sitters, traditions, and wedding etiquette, kept us on track, on time and completed a multitude of other functions. She coordinated several meetings with all of us, bending her schedule to mesh with each of ours, held phone conferences, and was readily available at any time for consultation.
On the day of the rehearsal and the wedding, as promised, Susan and her assistant, Alice Ann made certain that all of us were worry free, all events transpired smoothly and everyone left the rehearsal, wedding and reception smiling with memories of a very special day!

Susan of "That's It! Wedding Concepts LLC" was amazing to work with! My words won't do a justice in describing the value that she provides. Her diligence, organization and knowledge in the planning process are second to none. She served as the 'quarterback" of the entire process by not only coordinating things with us, but our other vendors as well. Like many brides, I was planning my wedding from a distance. While this adds more stress for some, it didn't for us as Susan was there whenever we needed her.
In addition, the service that Susan provides the "Day Of" is impeccable. The entire day was choreographed perfectly. Our wedding reception was outside at the Peter Allen House the weekend of Hurricane Irene. As you can imagine, for many brides this is their worst nightmare - an outdoor reception and a hurricane. Not mine. Susan took control of the entire situation along with our other vendors and I can honestly say that I barely knew it was raining!
Throughout this entire process, I grew to value, respect and admire Susan immensely. She was always there for us - whether it be to just listen, steer us in the right direction or provide insight and advice. I would recommend her to anyone with the highest regards. I can honestly say that our wedding day was incredibly perfect for us and much of that is attributable to Susan and her amazing work.

As an event planner for my "day job," I have always had to sit on the sidelines during my events and not get to fully enjoy and appreciate them.
My husband, Jesse, and I decided from the beginning that we wanted to be able to fully enjoy our wedding and not have to worry about anything for the rehearsal and wedding. When beginning our search, I pulled all of the business cards I had gathered at bridal shows and picked out a few to research further. One of them happened to be what is now That's It Wedding Concepts. I mentioned to Jesse the few I had selected and he immediately remembered Susan from the one show he had gone to with me. The second I spoke to Susan on the phone I knew that she was going to end up being our wedding coordinator; I could tell that we had similar ways of approaching events.
At our first meeting and each subsequent one, Susan eased our concerns and questions about everything from the ceremony music, to rehearsal dinner locations, to timelines for the days. Susan and her husband, Patrick, handled everything the day of the rehearsal- leading it, following up with the staff at the Hershey Hotel, and collecting all of our ceremony items (even the rings). This only continued on the day of the ceremony. They arrived at the Hotel hours before the day started to oversee the set-up, coordinate the flowers, meeting each of the vendors, checking in on both sides of the bridal party, among hundreds of other things. They did everything we could have imagined and more. We later found out some of the behind the scenes issues we hadn't known were going on during the event. That is how fantastic they are- we didn't even know there were issues!
Jesse and I truly can not say enough great things about Susan and Patrick, they are truly wonderful to work with! Susan has extensive knowledge of the industry and local vendors, an eye for design, poise, professionalism and keeps her client's best interests in mind during the whole process. Susan and Patrick were not only vendors of ours, but have become great friends during the process and today. I would highly recommend and sing the praises of Susan to anyone who is looking for a wedding coordinator/designer.

Our experience working with Susan Moran, of That’s It! Wedding Concepts, was very special. We knew from the moment we met her that we needed her to work with us in our wedding preparations, and on the most important day of our lives. We were relived to know that Susan would be our advocate through the planning process, and she always had our best interest at heart. Susan’s words to us through the months of planning that we worked together were “Your Wedding, Your Way”, and I can honestly say that she made that happen for us.
Susan came to every meeting incredibly prepared and organized. She kept us on task with timelines that she provided to help us gauge where we were with our progress in preparations, and where we should be at each month. Susan also provided us with budget sheets and checklists, too, which served to be extremely helpful.
Susan’s experience and know-how is beneficial to brides planning their big day. She is very knowledgeable in wedding traditions, customs, and proper etiquette. I looked to her many times for advice in planning our big day that went far beyond seating charts and flower arrangements. Being the seasoned professional that she is, Susan has worked with many vendors in the Central PA area, and beyond. It was helpful to us that she was able to make recommendations to us based on her professional experiences.
Susan always made herself available to us, not only during our sit-down meetings. She often encouraged us to call her at any time of day, and she was prompt in replying to our email messages.
But above all else, she was very supportive of my husband and I when we were planning our wedding. She wanted nothing more than our utmost happiness, and making our dreams come to life. I feel we had a perfect day, and I am confident that Susan was instrumental in achieving that for us.

"Five Stars" doesn't even begin to relay my level of satisfaction with the services of Susan and Pat Moran and That's It!!Wedding Concepts!
My husband and I are re-united high school sweethearts, and we wanted to get married at the place where we first met 35 years ago! Negley Park, Lemoyne, PA overlooking the beautiful Susquehanna River!
I was blessed the day I was referred to Susan! Although I wanted a "simple yet elegant garden-style wedding at the park, there were a LOT of logistics that I would have never even forecasted. Tray passed beverages, catering tents, dance floor, power for the DJ, our names painted on "the wedding tree", city permits, and oh Lord..."elegant porta potties":) All details were handled and the already beautiful park was transformed to a festive, elegant-yet-comfortable, celebration of love:)
Susan was flexible, responsive, creative and she DELIVERED on her promise which she relayed in her confident, sassy Texas manner, "Bea - you've got to sit down with me and share your vision. We'll work as a team to get started and then let me run with and TRUST ME. My job is to take on all the worry so you have none!"
Oh...I forgot to mention I lived in Nevada and my future husband lived near Pittsubrg, so planning a "destination" wedding in an unorthodox setting like Negley Park presented a LOT of strategic planning that Susan handled with ease. She coordinated with the city park services, did walk-throughs with the caterer, etc. She even found the perfect "Queen Bea" throne for my dear Aunt Bea who was really the Belle of the Ball!
Once I truly "got it" that Susan had it handled, she understood what I wanted, would do whatever it took to deliver, I just sat back and enjoyed myself. I think I was the least stressed bride in history! And the best part? Our guests had a blast. WE had a blast! People in the park were dancing to the music. The entire event was a celebration of love, joy, and blessings. The bride, the groom, the guests all simply relaxed, enjoyed, celebrated and no one had to lift a finger. Susan made everything seem effortless and stress-free.
She is a delight to work with. An absolute professional. Completely trustworthy, competent and beyond all of those professional qualities - she and her husband Pat are wonderful human beings whom we now consider friends!
Don't look any further for your wedding planner! Hire That's It! Wedding Concepts!

One of the most compelling reasons to work with Susan is that Susan's skills as a wedding coordinator are 2nd to none. PERIOD.
But the most compelling reason to work with Susan is how she can flawlessly handle all the little details of the wedding day and allow the bride and groom enjoy the day with the family without any worries. Her wonderful southern charm puts everybody at ease and she directs everyone with absolute perfection.
I was actually relaxed leading up to my wedding ceremony because I knew Susan had it all under control. My mother was relaxed because she knew Susan was the only one who could handle every detail and me at the same time.
She solved many difficult problems, helped calm me down when my bridesmaids got a little heated with each other and helped me remember - My Wedding, My Way. She had so many inovative ideas of how to take my idea of the perfect day (simple elegance with a twist) and bring them to life - bigger and better than I expected. All while keeping in mind my very tight budget.
She's the best and well worth every dime (and then some . . . )

Susan and her husband Patrick were a Godsend on my wedding day, and their services were worth every single penny. They really took all the stress out of the day and helped make it one we could enjoy instead of worrying about the details. On top of that, they provided lots of great ideas and are just the nicest people ever to boot. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a wedding or event planner! You can trust them 100%.

Susan provided exemplary service as our wedding coordinator. My husband and I are middle age. This was my second wedding and his first. Susan was able to connect well with each of us on our planning needs. She served in so many roles for us . . . a resource for etiquette questions, an innovative designer for small touches which made the ceremony and reception unique, a cheerleader for my husband to use his original artwork in our invitations and at the reception, a coach to handle delicate family matters and a source of calm and quiet amidst the roar of planning.
Susan guarantees that "your wedding" will be done "your way" and she delivered! Our reception venue has limited on site parking and Susan developed a plan so our older friends and family could be assured of parking nearby. On our wedding day Susan was a comfort. We knew if anything went amiss, she would handle the problem quickly, quietly and efficiently. We were so relaxed and had fun on our day due, in part, to the quality service Susan provided.
We found Susan to be the ultimate professional. From the moment we met her we knew she was well qualified for her work. Her checklists and quality business papers were a big hit with the organizer in our marriage. She is friendly and fun and has a marvelous aura of refinement and grace.
We felt the service we received was provided at a reasonable cost. Susan was quite flexible. Due to our work schedules, a few times we had to postpone in-house meetings and Susan was quite willing to plan over the phone. She was also very mindful of the contracted time limit for her sevices and was able to keep our planning within that time frame. It is without reservation we would recommend "That's It! Wedding Concepts" to an engaged couple and their families.

I had nothing but a wonderful wedding experience because of Susan!
My mother-in-law referred her to me since she knew Susan from non-profit events that she and Susan were both involved with. From the first meeting, I was impressed. Not only did she seem like a delightful and very caring woman, but also she was extremely well organized. She proved both of those things to be true the whole way through the process. I spent a year emailing her, calling her, and meeting with her to make my ideas a reality. From the very start, she was honest with me and told me she was not J.Lo(i.e. from The Wedding Planner) but that I would have my wedding the way I wanted it. And that’s the way that it happened. I hired her, not to do everything for me in order for me just show up the day of. I hired her as my support system and the keeper of my sanity. Any meeting I needed her to attend, she was there. Any one I needed her to call, she called them. I would say that her services are more than fairly priced. Personally, I think that Susan went way above and beyond what I paid for.
The day of my wedding was absolutely beautiful and just as I had imagined it in large part due to Susan. Among the millions of things she did that day, she picked up my flowers and brought them to me, made sure the guys had their ties and boutonnières on correctly, and were standing in the right place. She was very sensitive to any emotional situations that arose throughout that day and made sure that I wasn’t worried about anything. She was at the reception before I arrived and had made sure everything was running smoothly. And before she left she asked if it was okay for her to go and she made sure that everything that needed to be taken home was packed and taken to my family’s vehicles.
Normally I don’t comment on other people’s reviews but in this case it has to be said. The review by bride X.X.X. seems outrageous. Some of the things said just don’t make any sense and some of the things just sound made up, to be quite honest. Susan was very respectful with all my belongings and would never toss something at me or my husband especially if it had sentimental charms on them. Like I said, I didn’t hire a personal assistant. There were things that I did on my own, and gladly. That’s what bridesmaids, friends and family are for. I made favors and centerpieces that took me many nights and quite some time. If you were up most of the night doing things before the wedding, I doubt it was something that a wedding planner is supposed to help you with anyway. And I don’t see a reason why Susan would just decide to be “AGAINST” you on your wedding day. What you are trying to do here is ruin her reputation as a wedding planner, not warn other brides of what could happen. Let’s not be selfish about this.
And to future brides, yes things happen unexpectedly on your wedding day but that’s everyday! So if you dwell on how “perfect” you want your wedding to be it’s going to be nothing but a disaster. As Susan put it to me many times “Today is about you and your husband. Everyone else will just fall into place.” So the tables need to be moved around or the cake doesn’t fit where you want it to or your parents are running late or someone asks you a question during a dance, that’s not the important part. The important part is you, him, and that’s it!

Talk about flexibility, That's It! Wedding Concepts, LLC agreed to stick with us when we changed venues (and states!), literally going the extra mile for meetings and the big day. As a first year graduate student in a doctoral program, my colleagues were constantly asking me, "How are you planning a wedding right now?!" I was always relieved to say, "I have the best wedding designer ever!" I can not imagine having worked with anyone else - we clicked instantly and were constantly impressed by the effort put toward our wedding. We truly felt like we were the only clients. 100% satisfied!

From the first time that I spoke with Susan on the phone, I knew that she was the Wedding Planner for me. Susan listened as I explained how I envisioned my Wedding Day and she immediately sensed the stress in my voice as I worried that I wouldn't have the time or experience to pull everything together. Susan reassured me that my Wedding Day would be perfect, emphasizing that the planning process was going to be a fun and exciting part of my wedding memories.
Susan is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to weddings, ranging from decor to etiquette, and always kept in mind that I was working within a budget. She is flexible, organized and extremely easy to work with. Susan guided me through the planning process with her experience and numerous contacts throughout the Harrisburg area.
Because Susan was with me on my Wedding Day, I was able to fully enjoy one of the best days of my life (stress-free!). Susan helped me to create the Wedding Day that I had envisioned, right down to the final details. She was a priceless asset and I would recommend her to help make your wedding planning and Wedding Day a stress-free, memorable experience.

Susan is a great choice for a wedding planner! She is warm, passionate, responsible and modern with a classic twist.
Susan is very creative and can make all your visions come true (as well as suggest some amazing ideas of her own.) Most of all she strives to make sure each wedding is personal, memorable and uniquely special (which in my opinion, a memorable wedding, is the most important thing for you and your guests.)
From the signature cocktails to our family recipes being served during the cocktail hour, to incorporating a charitable aspect that was close to our hearts, Susan made our dream wedding come true. She added personal, creative touches that made our wedding even better than we could have imagined ourselves.
Once you talk to Susan, you will quickly come to know, just how talented and special she is.
