Sweet Confections Cakes

Sweet Confections was one of the bakerys that our wedding venue dealt with and after tasting our wedding cake it is not hard to see why! From the first time we tried their little cupcakes at a Meet & Greet (and couldn't stop eating them!) we knew we had found the right people to make our cake! When we went in to select our cake flavors, we received excellent customer service and felt like they really listened to everything we wanted. They even gave us some great ideas as to the design of the cake. They do an amazing job and our cake was fantastic! I highly recommend the strawberry champagne filling... everyone at our wedding said how amazing it was and we really enjoyed it too! Our cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious! Highly recommend Sweet Confections!

This was the very first bakery we went to and they had the best tasting cakes, they were beautiful ands everyone was so nice! Our wedding cake was amazing! It looked just like we wanted and it tasted delicious. We will definitely be using Sweet Confections again and recommend them to everyone we know.

My husband and I were not sure what type of cake we wanted, I just had a vague idea of wanting different types of cake to taste at a bridal show while we talked about design. After being given several different flavors of cake at a bridal show and getting a chance to talk to them, we knew we wanted Sweet Confections to make our cake. We were awed by the taste of the cakes during our tasting and adored a design display in the shop that was exactly what we were looking for. Our cake looked beautiful and tasted incredible! Some of our guests had seconds! We have decided to return for anniversary cakes as the years go by, my husband loved this cake so much. I will definitely be using Sweet Confections again!

Sweet confections produced two amazing cakes for our wedding cake. First a traditional wedding cake and second an AMAZING 3-d deer cake for my husband! The deer cake was HUGE and way above what we were expecting! Everybody raved about both cakes and how amazing our cake tasted! Everything was AMAZING and EXTREMELY affordable! THANK YOU!

Our Cake from Sweet Confections was absolutely amazing! It was just delicious. I would recommend Sweet Confections for any future wedding event!

The cake was great and they were very easy to deal with, everyone loved the taste. The problem is they forgot to put our cake topper on it and never said anything to us about it until we called them,

We had a red velvet cake on the top layers and the bottom layer was a vanilla mixture with white chocolate mousse inside of the cake. It was so delicious!!!!!!!!! Were having another cake done by them, it was soooo good=)

I took a picture with me & showed them what I wanted, being the picture had much more cake than I needed they suggested dummy cakes(only if I wanted them) to complete the look of the cake I had my heart set on. They even supplied the lighting from the picture I showed them & my guest were in "AW" over our cake. Not only was our cake elabrate, it was one of the best cakes I've ever eaten! I just ordered my husbands birthday cake from them because it was so good!...Haha! Tammie & Amos

I just love them both, they are so sweet & truly want to make there customers happy! I took a picture of the cake I wanted but wanted a different color than what the picture showed. The cake I wanted fed more guest than the guest amount that was attending our wedding & they suggested dummy cakes to give me the exzact look I wanted, which SAVED us $$$$ I was shocked that they even had all the lighted arrangements & tulle that the picture showed & supplied that as well, again SAVED us $$$ for I didn't have to go buy that & then be stuck with something I would never use again. I was amazed with there work & the taste of the cake I even went back to them and ordered my husbands Birthday cake, and I don't have to tell you that was just as amazing!! Thanks for all you've done, we'll never forget youns!!

My new husband & I met with this vendor for our initial consultation & provided them with the design of our wedding cake. Once we arrived at our reception, we were surprised & found a cake designed differently than what was initially discussed. This was a great surprise. The Sweet Confections design team came up with a design for our cake that was much nicer than was initially discussed. We loved it. We didn't want to cut it & ruin the design. The cake not only looked great, it tasted wonderful. We will definitely be returning customers & recommend their services.

The staff here was so friendly and easy to work with.. They made our cake EXACTLY how we wanted it. We brought them a paint swatch just because they wanted to get the exact shade of ivory I wanted for the cake.. They were extremely nice and the cake not only looked amazing it tasted like heaven!!!

When I first heard about Sweet Confections Cakes, I was at a bridal show...I loved the designs they had on display and at that moment I knew I had to try the samples they had offered. I asked if I could take another sample since I wanted my husband to try it...I knew it was going to be difficult to decide on a cake baker since he is not a big cake fan but as soon as he tasted the creamisicle flavor from them, he was sold and he didn't want to go anywhere else (I picked the rasberry twist for another layer)..We went to our consult to discuss the design of the cake and they gave us numerous ideas...They were very helpful and creative and used our colors from the wedding... I would recommend them

They did an awesome job on our wedding cake. I gave them a picture of what I wanted and it came out exactly the same. The cakes flavor what amazing too and very moist.

Our cake from Sweet confections was absolutely stunning! It really was the centerpiece of our reception! Not only did it look amazing, but it was so moist and delicious....everyone wanted more! The staff added extra rhinestone decor to our cake free of charge and it pulled the entire look together beautifully!

From the first time I met Darmain at Alfred Angelo's and tasted her cake, I knew this is where I wanted to go for my cake. Thank goodness they were one of the bakers in our package thru the hotel. Everyone at Sweet Confections did a FANTASTIC job on our wedding cake. We had so many compliments on how beautiful it looked and how good it tasted. My husband drives a dirt late model, so I wanted to have his car done as a cake. Never thought anyone could pull this off. But Sweet Confections did! We could not have asked for anything better!

We were very impressed with the bakers - we meet them at a bridal show and they looked incredibly professional, and their cakes were gorgeous (and delicious!) A ton of attention to detail. They were very easy to work with. My only complaints would be that while our cake was gorgeous, it was not EXACTLY what we wanted - they added a few "frosting dots" that we had not asked for. Also, I found the choices within our budget to be a little limiting. Otherwise they did a fantastic job and the cake was very structurally sound.

Darmain was wonderful to work with. I had a beach theme wedding and she made our cake look just like a sand castle.

Delicious! Everything about Sweet Confections was easy and yummy! The cake tasting was so simple - just white cake with a few spreads, but it was the most savory white cake I have ever had. We sent them a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like, and the finished product was even better looking than the photo. And the taste - chocolate with raspberry filling - was heavenly!

I had asked bakeries all around the Hershey, PA area for a groom's cake for my husband who loves the Rolling Stones. I was always met with various forms of "no". When my wedding planner suggested Sweet Confections I was all out of resources and I figured anything was better than nothing. I was so surprised by the outcome. Sweet Confections went above and beyond all my expectations and my husband's groom's cake got more attention than our actual wedding cake (which was difficult because my wedding cake was amazing)! When they brought the grooms cake out all of our guests rushed the dance floor and would not stop clapping! Not only did it look SPECTACULAR but it was delicious as well. I could not believe what I got for the little money that I had spent. BRAVO and would recommend this vendor again and again! I should also mention that I am a chef and many of our guests were pastry chefs so the bar for this vendor was already high to begin with...

We chose this vendor after several of our friends recommended them and after a girlfriend of mine told me she was using them for her wedding (she is very fashionable and has great taste). The cake was very good - taste - and was structurally sound. The design of the cake was almost was we were looking for, but not quite. The design on the cake was a little off and the color was totally wrong (we had a light blue, black and ivory color scheme, we got navy blue - instead of black and teal). We wanted our monogram on the front of the cake with two small block letters for our first names and a large block letter in the middle for our last name. We ended up with a funky Victorian script with all of the letters very close in size to each other. We really wanted and expected the cake to be the centerpiece of our entire reception. My husband actually wanted to turn the cake around so that the guests couldn't see the monogram. I do think that we could have gotten past some of these problems had the vendor put a little time into our meeting. We made 2 appointments with the baker to go over cake flavors and design. On the first occasion the actual baker did not meet with us. On the second occasion she did, for a couple of minutes. We specifically requested to taste cakes and fillings and on both occasions we were given a sample of the cake they had available (yellow on both days) and butter cream icing - neither of which was an option we were considering. We did get a very basic sketch of the cake - but even in our sketch the monogram is exactly what we wanted, and we gave the baker a swatch of fabric in our color - not sure where they went wrong on color and design, but they went way wrong!
