Rosie's Creative Cakes

Rosie was recommended to us by a friend, and now I know why! We had a beautifully tiered wedding cake with raspberry swirl and raspberry layers. It was out of this world! I also asked Rosie if she could make a groom's cake for my husband; a Steelers jersey made up of banana cake and a peanut butter layer. Oh my - that was an amazing cake! Rosie did an awesome job, and was reasonably priced. She was professional and courteous. We loved our cakes, and so did our guests! Thanks again, Rosie, for making our day delicious!

OMG, this was the best wedding cake I ever saw. It was simply amazing. She was able to take my vision and took it to the max. I can not explain how perfect my cake was. It was hard to do the cake cutting...I didnt want to mess it up. And better yet, it was the best tasting cake I ever had. Thank you so much for everything.

Rosie does an amazing job! The cake was amazing and delicious! The cake garnered quite a few inquiries on who did this amazing creation. I think Rosie will have quite a few new clients coming her way after my wedding. It could not have been more perfect. I highly reccomend Rosie!

We loved our wedding cake. The staff at Rosies could not have been more professional and perfect. The cake looked amazing like it came from TLC - srtisstic , modern and just amazing, was very affordable and tasted like no other cake. Each guest complimented on our cake and it wouldnt have been without Rosie's. We love them and recommed them to every bride and groom.

Rosie makes the best cakes! For our wedding, we selected red velvet with a white chocolate mouse filling. It was fabulous! I had several guest come up to me and say that it was best cake they ever tasted!! The design of the cake was amazing and matched the wedding invitations perfectly! Thanks Rosie!

From our first consultation we knew we wanted to go with Rosie. And as we counted down the days to our wedding all we kept saying is I can't wait to see the cake and of course eat it... We had gone to other cake consultation and had given them our idea and none of them gained our trust like Rosie did. We somehow knew that she would be able to create what we were invisioning. And she did that and more... We were both blown away at how details and elegant the cake turned out... Not to mention how delicious it was. I can't thank Rosie enough for making our day even more special with her creativity and attention to detail.. Thank you again!!

One word: PHENOMENAL!!!! Rosie is amazing and people keep talking about how amazing my cake looked and tasted!! Rosie asked to see our invitation and from there, she created a design to match. It wasn't our original design but when she mentioned about matching it to the invitation - we decided to let her go with it since she is the expert and it turned out better than we ever expected! I cannot express how wonderful the taste was as well! We had strawberry swirl with strawberry filling and chocolate mocha chip with peanut butter filling....both were great but I highly recommend the strawberry swirl! Rosie is so easy to work with and I couldn't have been any happier with our choice to have her make our cake!

Rosie made the perfect cake for our wedding. We met with Rosie in the early stages of planning. During the process of showing her pictures, talking about what we like and don't, and answering her questions, she drew a picture of a cake that she imagined for us. She nailed it right on the nose. Not only did the cake look awesome, but it tasted amazing.

From our first visit I knew I wanted to go with Rosie for our cake. We had to take our children with us to the consultation. Rosie gave my husband, my daughter who is 10, and myself a plate of cake to taste. Which was all fantastic. We looked through pictures and talked about our visions. She came up with a drawling right there. Rosie is very creative. On our wedding day when we went to cut the cake the Dj said yes it is real to the guest. I looked so good that some people didn't think it was. We had one of the best experience with Rosie. I highly recommend her services.

Absolutely AMAZING! Rosie is wonderful to work with, very creative, and her cakes are delicious! It is hard to find a cake baker that creates artistically stunning cakes with incredible taste and flavor but Rosie is more than capable of achieving both! Her cakes are absolutely delicious and her design ideas are fantastic! Our guests loved the cake! And her pricing is definitely reasonable! The cake tasting was the first thing we did for our wedding! We heard many positive things about Rosie's creative cakes so she was our first and only stop. Once we tasted her sample plate we decided it couldn't get any better! We had a design in mind and reviewed it with Rosie. She voiced a few concerns and provided us with a few other options. We both decided to think about it for awhile and during that time Rosie found an even better option!!! Just to know that she put the extra thought into finding the perfect design for us was very exciting and reassuring. It showed that she cared and wanted to deliver the very best. In the end she found the perfect design!!! It was beautiful and even married back to the bodice of my dress. We could not have been happier with the end product. My jaw dropped when I first saw the cake after it had been delivered. Our cake could not have looked better or tasted better!!! Thank you Rosie!!!

BEAUTIFUL CAKE.Everyone loved it, even my friends who don't really eat cake (those people do exist). It was lovely to look at. The fresh peonies were so beautiful it accented all of Rosie's hard work.Her talents and her eye for the artistry are so amazing for her reasonable prices. Other places charge so much. Her cakes are equally delicious and beautiful for a fraction of the cost. Saving money on a beautiful cake means you have more for your honeymoon. Her location is a little out of the way, but the drive out to Manheim is totally worth it for her delicious cakes. I think other bakery's are more visible because of their locations, but her cakes are difficult to match. Don't miss this gem.

We definitely wanted our wedding cake to be a focal point at the reception and beautiful in design, but the most important element to us was taste! I love cake so it had to taste great!! Rosie has great flavors and they all tasted wonderful so we knew we couldn't go wrong.She really listened to what we liked visually and took pictures of my personal dream design and made it a reality. It was stunning and tasted even better!I can't wait to eat more in 1 year :)

I have ordered numerous cakes from Rosie over the years for birthdays, baby showers, and bridal showers. She always did an amazing job and I always received many compliments on her cakes. My fiance & I decided to use her to do our cake for our April 2011 wedding. During our first initial meeting, Rosie took the time to go through all the pics & examples of what we were envisioning. She paid attention to all the details of the wedding in order to tie it into the cake. She is such a sweet person and promptly returned all of our emails if we had any questions or changes.The day of our wedding I will never forget the first time I saw our cake. There was a crowd of people surrounding it and taking pictures. It was the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen! It was elegant, romantic, and regal...which is exactly what we were hoping for.But Rosie's cakes go beyond their beauty...they are DELICIOUS! Her cakes are so moist and the fillings she uses make you want to go back for seconds! At our reception, guests kept coming up to me and saying how gorgeous the cake looked and how delicious it was. After the wedding I had a couple people email me asking for Rosie's contact info so they can book her for their future events. I even received an email from Rosie herself asking what we thought of the cake stating, "She wanted to EXCEED our expectations". Well, Rosie achieved her goal by exceeding our expectations for sure!Rosie will not let you down! She goes over & beyond in order to make her customers happy without being overpriced. Thank you Rosie for all your hard work...you are so talented!!

Our wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL!!! Rosie met with us, took our ideas of the perfect cake and created a gorgeous, delicious castle cake the reflected everything we had wanted. The cake was yummy too!!! Her cake was moist, good amount of cake to filling ratio and truly sent you back wanting more!!!

There are wedding cakes and then there are Rosie's cakes.We choose Rosie to be Jess and Cooper's wedding cake baker for her reputation of delivering a high quality product consistantly. What Rosie provided was a calm , reassuring voice, a truly talented eye, a steady hand, and a cake that was not only beautifully crafted ~truly spectacular~ but also heaven to taste.We had decided early on to make the cake that Rosie would bake for the wedding a highlight of the event. Indeed the Eden Resort's staff placed the cake front and center just below the Jess and Coper's sweetheart table. Mike Vargo, director of setup, at the Eden had no doubts that Rosie would deliver big and so arranged to have the cake spotlit, and Special Occasion and Queen Street Linens made sure their fabrics would spectacularly set the stage.Jess and I had ideas of what we were looking for as far as design, and Rosie took those ideas and transformed them into a culinary masterpiece (this is without exaggeration). The cake was one of the most comented on details of the wedding by our guests. On 2/19/2011 we were married, our colors were "Lapis" (Purple). Rosie helped me decide on the color of flowers, showing me pictures of wedding cakes. When i met with Rosie, she showed me the cake pans, gave me samples of the cake to taste along with samples for my groom. She's very organized, willing to answered all my questions. Rosie is an absolutely amazing vendor and I feel so fortunate that she made our wedding cake! She was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. Of course I kept changing my mind as to the cake design as the wedding drew near and Rosie was flexible to my indecisions. The cake was delicious and I absolutely love the final design we came up with. Our wedding guests are still raving about how moist our red velvet cake was. If you are in the Lancaster area I would strongly encourage to consider Rosie for all of your cake needs.

Rosie was my favorite vendor BY FAR throughout the entire wedding process. She is amazing at what she does and a wonderful person to be around. She had wonderful ideas and has a knack for knowing how to read your style based on a few simple questions. She is very professional with her contracts, sketches and interactions. The cake was exactly as it was promised both in taste and appearance. It was BEAUTIFUL. I can't recommend Rosie enough. She also works very closely with the other vendors and venue owners in Lancaster and this relationship really takes the burden off of you in terms of orchestrating the day or planning. Go with Rosie -- you will not regret it!
