John Yoder Rocks! As a couple who had both be married previously, we wanted to scale things down this time around. Our big day included only our children, their significant others, and our parents. Many caterers wouldn't even consider working with us for a total guest list of 18. John was not only up to the challange, but he was amazing. His beef tenderloin in a demi-glaze was the talk of the night. YUM! Every bit of the food was delicious, the service was incredible, and he took care of everything in our very own kitchen.... and the place was spotless when he left. As a new bride, one of the most important things to making your wedding day successful is having great food. Platinum Catering not only met our expectations they exceeded them. The food was truly amazing with such a large selection and the staff was professional and excited to serve. We had several recommendations for catering services but once we met Chef John we immediately felt that he knew exactly what we wanted to make our wedding extraordinary . We had many international guest to accommodate and many events that needed hosted. We decided for Chef John to not only cater the wedding but for him to cater the rehearsal dinner and a breakfast for the guests on Sunday morning. Chef John really listened to our needs and the guests loved seeing Chef John and staff for three events as they knew great food was on the way! I would recommend Platinum Catering to anyone who wants affordable prices, a chef who listens, cares, and most all takes ownership for making your event his #1 priority. I almost want to get married again just for the food : )

Best food ever! My guests are still raving about it! We met with several caterers and when you meet with Platinum you actually talk to the Chef. Chef John can make you seriously anything and will modify anything to suit your exact tastes. He is very professional and everything was presented beautifully. Very very affordable. Top service and quality, very reasonable costs.

Chef Yoder and Platinum Catering provided exceptional service and an incredible dining experience for my wedding guests in an outdoor tent setting. Challenged with an unconventional request in creating a 5 course tasting menu, he presented beautiful platters to each table throughout the evening. Guests raved and couldn't wait for the next entree. Everyone is still talking about the Antipasto starter and the Beef Tenderloin with sage demi-glaze with bleu cheese. Outstanding! John and his staff were incredibly responsive and professional to any request, even in the rain, in addition to the tremendous amount of work that was required for this type of dining experience. I can not say enough great things about Platinum Catering. Chef John Yoder has such a talent. Our meal was absolutely delicious and I am still getting compliments on the food a month after the wedding. Everything that John makes is from scratch so you know you are serving your guests only the best. I would highly recommend Platinum Catering for your next event. Chef John of Platinum Catering was an outstanding choice for our wedding reception. His friendly wait and bar staff were the perfect combination for our guests. And his menu was amazing! Chef John Yoder and his team were phenomenal!! Chef Yoder offers a variety of menu options that can range from traditional to contemporary, and he is very open to creating dishes that are not on the menu as well. He went above and beyond to be sure that we were receiving the quality and variety of food that we were looking for to complement our event, and he did so while providing options to help us stick to our budget. He is very easy to work with, our event was beautiful, and people are still complementing us on the food! I highly recommend Platinum Catering if you are looking for to truly "wow" your guests.

Chef John Yoder aims to please. I told him exactly what I wanted in the salad and got it! I wanted something more interesting than chicken, and got it! I wanted real mashed potatoes and got it! I wanted the broccoli beautifully green, crisp-tender and still warm, I got it! His main courses were the talk of the reception but it's the whole meal that counts and he knows that. The service was as good as the meal. - WONDERFUL

Platinum Catering is an amazing catering service. Chef John catered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. I come from a very international family, so we wanted a lot of unique international food. Chef John worked with us to formulate custom menus and did not just meet our expectations, but surpassed them. The food was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The past year has been wedding season for our friends, so we have been to a multiplicity of weddings. However, our friends still rave about the food at our reception, saying that it was the best that they have had by far. The presentation of the food was absolutely beautiful and added a very distinguished element to the look and feel of the reception. Chef John was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond to my many questions. I would definitely have him cater another event.

I very much appreciated all of John's services! Everyone took great care of us and the food was wonderful. Just before our wedding we realized the table was setup incorrectly (not his doing)- He very quickly and calmly gave us options and promised us everything would be in place when we came back. It was a beautiful, magical dinner! We have wonderful memories! John and his team obviously love what they do and nothing but professionalism. Thanks!

Our platters were there right on time, and all the guests loved it; even the picky ones.
