Moonstone Manor

Not only is the Moonstone Manor the most beautiful venue in the area,the owners (Penny and her husband) are FANTASTIC . When my daughter and her fiancé chose the manor I did not realize how helpful Penny would be. Everything we wanted or needed was done for us. As an example, we had a few elderly guest who had severe mobility issues and Penny moved them with the golf cart to and from the ceremony, the bathroom, and finally to the car. She really knows her business, protects her brides and their families, and is helpful with all aspects of wedding planning,so ask if you have any questions. She made us feel as though we were family. Highly recommended!

This is the best venue in PA! Our ceremony was held outside with the Conewago Creek in the background. The manor itself is charming and the grounds well maintained. There are 9 rooms for your wedding party to stay in, and Penny and her husband make you a delicious 3 course breakfast if you stay over. The reception was in the tent. When it ended- a little early since the Manor is in Lancaster County- we just moved the party up to the patios. The Manor can be rented just for the day of the wedding or for the week. It's a beautiful place to have your bridesmaid's luncheon etc. We brought lawn games and as folks started arriving for the rehearsal everyone had a great time. Much more fun than gathering in a hotel lobby or conference room. Total experience 10....

Penny and the staff at the Moonstone Manor are truly remarkable!!!! From our very first visit to see the Mansion, and throughout the entire planning period, Penny was a pleasure to work with!! The grounds at the Mansion are stunning and the staff is a great group to deal with!!! The whole experience is only one can dream of !!!! Penny and the staff made our wedding day truly one to remember !!!! The atmosphere is beautiful... The rooms, the breakfasts, the grounds.... All the best !!! You must take the time to meet Penny and find yourself in love with the Mansion!! You will have the best time and most beautiful wedding !!!!

Penny is absolutely AMAZING!! She made our day PERFECT and I couldn't have asked for a better venue or wedding "planner". She went ABOVE and BEYOND for our event! She even helped finish tasks when I ran out of time. Our wedding was during the epic flood and she made sure the grounds were perfect, everything was completed and up to par...everything was fabulous and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect day! She is awesome and we love her and the Manor! :)

The Conewago was simply amazing. The venue, the creek, the outdoor tent, and the overall experience was fantastic. The owners were friendly, accommodating, and present for any of our needs during the week of the wedding. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who was looking for a beautiful place to get married!

From our early stages of planning, my husband and I decided we wanted a tented outdoor reception. It was by fate that we found Conewago Manor! When I thought all hope was lost, we found this beautiful gem located on the outskirts of Elizabethtown! The moment we stepped on the property for a site tour, we decided this is where we wanted to have our reception. My husband and I love antiques and historic properties and wanted to share that love with our friends and family on our wedding day. Working with Penny was great! She made everything so easy! She was always happy to answer my calls, emails, and open up her property to me for site visits and planning meetings. Penny also allowed us to have access to the Manor days prior to the wedding so we could deliver our dresses, alcohol, decor and other items. This was especially helpful since both of our families live far away. We dressed at the Manor prior to our wedding ceremony at our church. The spaciousness of the manor allowed my bridesmaids, the mothers, and I to get hair, makeup, and dressing accomplished without the groom and the groomsmen seeing us! We all felt so relaxed and pampered getting ready in the beautiful rooms at the Manor. Another detail we loved about the Manor was the abundant property. We didn't want a stuffy wedding reception where everyone was confined to one room. Our guests were able to roam the property and appreciate the landscape and beauty of the home during cocktail hour, just as we planned. When it came time for the recpetion, guests were escorted into a gorgeous tent, with an illuminated liner and chandeliers! I truly felt as though the tent transformed into an outdoor ballroom! We had countless guests compliment us on the beauty and appearance of the property and how our wedding was the best they ever attended! We were so pleased with not only our experience at Conewago, but our guests as well! To this day, almost two months later, we are still talking about it! Conewago Manor will leave a lasting impression on you and your guests! We are sad our wedding is over, but cherish our memories and time spent at Conewago. We are so grateful to Penny for making everything happen and her attention to detail and customer satisfaction! When the night was over, my husband and I were treated to an overnight stay at the Manor, and to our surprise, we were served an amazing breakfast cooked by Penny herself! We were treated so well by the folks at Conewago Manor and would highly recommend them!

We only used this venue for our reception but this would have made for a great ceremony venue as well. The grounds are very well up kept and Keith the owner is so helpful and flexible. We've met with him numerous times and he reasurred he would have everything just the way we wanted it. He helped take a lot of the last minute stresses down to a minimum. Beautiful bed and breakfast with a nice creek running beside it. It is a place where guests or the bride and groom can rent for the night as well. It is far away from everyone, but yet close enough to the major roads and highways for that area. A must see for every bride.

Very much wanted to please us and had many helpful suggestions! Down to earth people who are friendly and real. Helpful with the needs of elderly to make them comfortable. We had many comments on this being the most beautiful wedding our guests have ever seen. Highly recommended!

We wanted an outdoor venue for our wedding ceremony and reception and the Conewago Manor was the ideal choice. Once we set foot on the property, we knew that it was the place we wanted to be married. The Manor and grounds provided the perfect backdrop for our June wedding. The Conewago's secluded location made us feel as though we were in our own little world. The new tent and liner for the 2011 wedding season was a pleasant surprise for us and only enhanced our reception. What made the experience even better was working with Penny, who was a pleasure to deal with and was very accomodating to our needs. She worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, particularly in allowing them access to the Conewago before our wedding day. Additionally, Penny opens the Manor to wedding parties during their wedding weekend, so we stayed overnight on both Friday and Saturday which made the weekend seem longer. The rooms at the Manor are gorgeous, with each featuring its own unique theme. Penny also made brunch for us on Sunday morning which was absolutely delicious! We received countless compliments on what a beautiful venue the Conewago is, and we would absolutely recommend it for an outdoor wedding venue.
