He has a great eye for what your peronality type is and what to film and how based on you. It was great that at the reception and ceremony i didn't even know that he was there. He was completley out of the way and it was amazing. He promised that he wouldn't be noticed and it was sure kept. I can't wait to see my DVD!!

We had a wonderful experience with Lavon Films. We did not plan on hiring a videographer for our wedding, but after talking to some people about it (and meeting Derek), we were sold. After seeing the video, I would recommend EVERYONE to hire a videographer (and particularly Lavon Films). Unfortunately, when we hired Lavon, Derek (the owner) was already booked on our wedding day. I was a little nervous about this, but the 2 filmers at our wedding were great. They blended in so well that nobody even realized that we were having the wedding taped! We received our video about 3 months after our wedding (which is exactly what Derek estimated) and absolutely LOVED IT! Through the video, we relived our wedding day and saw so many things that we missed on the actual day! Hiring Lavon Films was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning and we highly recommend them!

Lavon Films were awesome. He was always happy to be helpful during the planning phase as well as during our wedding. Unlike other cinematographers I have seen at other weddings, Lavon Films crew was always out of the way. From from of the footage we have seen, it doesn't seem they misses anything that happened over the three days they covered. In central PA, it is hard finding a cinematographer comfortable covering Indian/Hindu weddings - these are your guys!

Derek was super helpful, completely professional, and awesome to work with. We love his style and cannot wait to see how he captured our day!!

Lavon films did a wonderful job and we loved our video!! We werent sure if we wanted to pay for a video but it was soooo worth it because re-living the day 3 months later was PRICELESS and now we will have it forever.

Derek is a real pro and goes out of his way to make sure the bride and groom are comfortable and taken care of. He went and got my wife, the bride, a sandwich to eat and is very caring for his customers. He has state of the art equipment and a great eye for getting the best angles. He also has good audio equipment. I would recommend him to anyone.

Derek is a great videographer! He and our wedding photographer worked together on an Engagement Story that was shown during our reception. It was done so professionally by he and Matthew Tennison that it turned out like a TV production. The whole experience was great. He also filmed our wedding and reception, and within a few days he posted a 30-second Trailer of our day and the Engagement Story on his website that we could watch while we were on our honeymoon! Plus I also need to mention that he is one of the nicest, unobtrusive guys you could ever have with a camera on you every minute of your wedding day!
