Our daughter had the first New Years Eve wedding/reception held at Cameron, what a wonderful time. We worked with Rachael for most of the planning until she took some brief time off to have her baby, Randy was very helpful filling in for her until she returned. The food was excellent, service was exceptional - hats off to Cameron and espicially Rachael for making this a night my daughter and her husband will never forget!

We booked the Inn for the weekend of my wedding to house our wedding party and immediate family and close friends! It was a great place for us to host the weekend! We had our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at Cameron. The food was delicious & the staff was more than accommodating, welcoming, and professional. Both Randy and Rachel were wonderful to work with, and they were there to help us with anything we needed. We used their new concierge package, which provided our guests with 'goody' bags upon arrival, lunch the day of, and snacks and drink both Friday and Saturday evening on the front porch. The day ran perfectly, the grounds were beautiful, and it was the perfect place for my husband & I to get married!

We had our son's baptism at Cameron Estate- we worked with Randy and Mary and we were so happy! The venue was beautiful, our meal was fabulous and the ambiance was just beautiful. My guests loved the Inn, and we were so pleased with our experience as a whole. I would suggest Cameron Estate for any special occasion!

My daughter just got married last Saturday at Cameron Estate Inn in Mount Joy, PA. Randy, the event coordinator, was absolutely wonderful to work with and extremely helpful in assisting me to plan a beautiful wedding at an affordable price in an historically elegant atmosphere. The grounds were absolutely lush green and very well maintained. The Inn, itself, is decorated in authentic period furnishings and affords the feeling and ambiance of old world charm. All of our guests loved the Cameron--the Inn itself, the grounds, the delicious meals, the decor, the rooms, the staff, etc., etc., etc. Absolutely NO ONE complained about anything, which is a miracle in itself with a group of 40 people of various ages, personalities, preferences, etc.! Several of the guests stayed at the Inn all weekend and loved it and were also treated to a wonderful breakfast in the mornings. able to give my daughter an elegant and beautiful setting in which to have her wedding day and to offer not only the bridal couple but all the guests wonderfully elegant and delicious meals in lovely surroundings. The owners and staff at the Cameron made it possible for me to give my daughter an elegant and beautiful setting in which to have her wedding day and to offer not only the bridal couple, but all the guests, wonderfully elegant and delicious meals in lovely surroundings. It was not your typical bland "banquet" food. We offered 3 different types of entrees, and all 3 were praised by our guests.I will cherish these memories created at the Cameron Estate for a long time to come and will continue to visit there to dine and to stay for special occasions. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong by having your event at the lovely Cameron Estate.

We loved Cameron Estate as our wedding venue. Randy was so very helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, and was so flexible! We had a hard time deciding on a meal (they were all great!) and they were wonderful about allowing us to come in a few times until we finally made up our minds (Chicken Chesapeake - I don't think there was a single plate at the reception that didn't get eaten entirely!). They were accomodating in every way I could imagine, which we loved since we were hosting a smaller wedding (90 guests). The only thing to keep in mind is that your event must end at 9:00 p.m. unless you have rented out the entire inn, in which case it can go on until 10:00 p.m. However, we just added extra hours to our reception package and were able to start the ceremony earlier, so we still had the amount of time that we wanted!I would also recommend Cameron Estate as it is a beautiful setting (especially in the late spring), with a lot of character.

We stayed at the inn and just loved it. The house is old, 200+ years, but well kept and this time of the year the grounds are majestic. Every room seamed to be special and spacious. We were hosting our daughter's wedding and the event went like clock work from the very start till the end. Bravo! My daughter was torn between the lower garden and the gazebo garden but with the apple trees in bloom the gazebo garden clinched it. The staff was so supportive of the last minute changes and we never felt pressured. We would highly recommend the Inn for any occation.

We could not have found a better venue for our wedding weekend! The staff at the inn were so helpful and flexible throughout our planning and wedding day. We reserved the inn for our friends and family for the weekend...it was so great to have everyone there in one spot! The inn is just gorgeous. The food was amazing. We highly recommend!

I was a little disappointed with the chocolate fountain.. it was really small and not worth $6 a person. The food was wonderful. We got the chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots and beef craving station...absolutely fabulous!!!

We absolutely loved the Cameron Estate Inn from our first visit. When we saw how beautiful the property was, we booked our date that very day. The Inn staff was incredible and very helpful with even the most trivial questions. Everyone that worked our wedding was friendly and efficient and we could not have asked for a more perfect event. We had looked at several other venues, but the professional and caring staff at the Inn made our choice simple. From the day we booked our wedding we have never once regretted our choice. The Inn makes for a beautiful location for a wedding and the pictures were AMAZING! I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!!!

We held our reception and ceremony at the Cameron Estate Inn, with the ceremony and cocktail hour being outside and the reception being inside. The site was very flexible with preparing for inclement weather should that occur, as well as guests being added at the last minute (only a few hours before the ceremony began). They were flexible in helping us to rearrange the order of courses as well as the presentation which I found some other venues would not do. The wedding coordinator was very timely in responding to voicemails and emails left for her, typically the same day if left earlier in the day or the next morning. Everything was beautiful - the only area in which I felt they fell short on the wedding day was the food. The taste was delicious, but the presentation was a bit lacking. During our taste test, they displayed the food in exquisite fashion, which we had expected for the wedding day. This was not the case. Some of the vegetables had not been cooked all the way through and the presentation of some of the dishes had not been the same as we had seen at the taste testing. Overall, I would recommend having your wedding here, especially if you're looking for a venue to have an outside ceremony. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and offer a large number of spectacular photography options!

I had origionally booked with Cameron Estate Inn to use the carriage house ballroom for my reception. I felt off the bat that they were a bit pricey, but they were within my budget and I liked their "You pay us for food, we take care of the rest" policy. The woman I had been working with was friendly, flexible, kind, and easy to reach. Unfortunately, We suffered a substantial family tragedy shortly thereafter, resulting in a significant budget cut and pushing the wedding up by 8 months. I called in tears, and the woman pledged to do her best to make things work with CEI, or, if they couldn't, to fight on my behalf to get the $2000 deposit back, (which, according to her, they never give back even in cases of death). I made an appointment with her to go over the details in person and see what costs we could cut to make it work, and when I arrived, I was met by a gruff man who informed me that she had been let go. While we were able to bring the cost per person down, they still held fast to the $5000 catering minimum, plus the 20% service charge and the 6% tax. So, if you want the ballroom, regardless of which menu you chose, you WILL NOT spend less than $6,360. I was majorly disappointed, but chose to do business with them anyway, spending much more than I could afford, so that I wouldn't loose the two grand they already had and wouldn't let go. We also had a few uninvited guests crash the reception (eww...) and they were quick to make extra meals and place settings for them. BUT, they also billed me for it without authorization. Had they asked me, I would've been able to inform them that we had a few cancellations day-of that meant we had more than enough for even for the crashers. So, I felt like that was slightly poor communication and slightly unethical. (Although, we did receive the extra food we bought in to-go boxes at the end of the night. But some extra chicken was not worth 300 bucks to me)All that being said, when it came time for the actual event, the venue was gorgeous, the temperature of the room was perfect, the food was delicious and warm at every table simultaneously, the staff was friendly and efficient, and they were excellent at adjusting the time line to the needs of the event. They even allowed us to stay a little longer than we had paid for because we hadn't been able to dance more than a few songs when our event was meant to end. That extra time meant the world to me. I also stayed the night with my new hubby. The room was lovely, and the breakfast they served the next day was PHENOMENAL. I highly recommend them as a B&B, if you can pay their high costs. However, as a wedding venue, I warn you to be careful reading what you sign, as they WILL NOT ever go back on it. I felt very nickle-and-dimed by them, and I don't feel like what we had was worth the cost. But, what we had was lovely. So, if money's not as much an issue for you as it was for me, go for it!

We chose Cameron Estates for our reception venue and it was absolutely beautiful! The grounds are incredible for photos, the food is great, and the Carriage House Ballroom is beautiful! In terms of pricing, they are a bit expensive and be SURE to read the contract CAREFULLY because there is a 20% service charge and 6% tax on top of everything and trust me, it adds up!!! The staff is very nice and very detail-oriented. Randy was our coordinator and he definitely stayed on top of everything but I found him to be a little stiff and not very fun to work with. However, he does an excellent job!! Overall, it was a great night and all of our guests had a wonderful time!

We fell in love with the grounds of Cameron Estate Inn the moment we stepped on it! The venue was exactly what we needed for our intimate wedding. Lesson learned - read the contract when you arent soo excited to be signing the contract because you found the location..not sure if others did this, but there were a few things in the contract/plan that was workable, but wasnt realized fully until a few months ago. Our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch! Everyone absolutely LOVED the foods....The CEI staff are hot/cold, totally understand its a business but sometimes the professionalism is lacking, at least try to be nice when things cant be worked out or you dont prefer to work with other vendors we've hired! The overall costs can seem a bit pricey, but looking back, we are satisfied with the experience.
