I worked with Nuria, the assistant manager. She was absolutely wonderful and asked me if I had a budget right away so that she didn't put me in a dress I couldn't afford and fell in love with it. She made me feel beautiful and listened to exactly what I told her. They were/are extremely flexible and are there to help you.

My wedding dress was AMAZING!! It took my breath away and my husband's breath away!! It suited my personality great!! My process, however, of getting the dress was NOT great!! The manager was friendly!! She was very pushy!! She pushed the wrong size wedding dress on me. When I went to order the right size, she told me that I had to take the one that I had b/c I signed a contract. The contract was my reciept that I HAD to sign!! How was I supposed to know?? We called up and asked for the corporate number and they WOULD NOT give it to us!! They gave me an e-mail address which was harrisburgstore@alfredangelo.com... wonder where that e-mail would have went?? lol... We eventually got them to give us the district manager's number and he was very helpful!! he was able to fix the mananger's mix up... and give me the RIGHT size that I tried on!! They also over charge for alterations and mess them up!! I WOULD NOT recommend them for alterations!! Their dresses are GREAT, but the service IS NOT!!

I LOVED working with the ladies at Alfred Angelo in Harrisburg, PA. Erin was fantastic. They went above and beyond what I could have asked for and always responded to me quickly if I had any questions. I ended up having a timing issue when getting my dresses steamed but the store worked with me and allowed me to drop them off early so that they would be done when I could get them. They were wonderful.

The consultant who worked with me was wonderful! She listened to what I wanted, but also offered some recommendations. She found me the perfect dress in my price range. She took her time, helped me into each dress, explained the dress to me, walked me out, put me on the pedestal and explained the dress to my girls. This place was wonderful! Made me feel special and...

AWFUL! Rude. Was told one thing and another happened. Every visit up until my last fitting. horrible

I loved the consultant I worked with to select my wedding dress. Erin was patient and listened to what I had to say about what I wanted. If I rated my experience on Erin alone, she would have all 5s. The problem was that when we went back for my mother-in-law's dress, our consultant left a lot to be desired. She stood around. She didn't make any suggestions. She talked back to my mother-in-law. I was embarrassed because I suggested that she try the same place where I got my gown. I think the store manager say we were getting upset by the actions of the consultant that she came over and stayed with the consultant. The store manager was nice and saved the appointment, but I would never want to work with that consultant again. Also, they told my mother that they could not order her an alfred angelo A-line shirt with the mother of the bride top she wanted. She went to a mom and pop wedding place near her home and they had no problem ordering the same Alfred Angelo A-line shirt and mother top that she wanted. For some reason the store would not do it and my mom missed out on the discount because she had to order it from a different store. Overall, I loved all the dresses we got from Alfred Angelo, but I wish some of the consultants were more competent.

Alfred Angelo made me feel beautiful the day i went and looked at my dress, they also made it special for my girls and i to share that day together. We went in after going to 2 other places, when I put on the dress i knew it was the one.

Everyone commented on how lovely my dress was! The dress looked very high fashion but at the fraction of the price. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I only had to have the bustle done, which was a simple bustle and I thought their prices were somewhat on the expensive side. At the end of the day I loved my dress!!

I loved my dress and it didnt even need altered. I do believe they charge a little too much to have bustles done. Overall I love my dress!!!

I and my guests loved my dress. I thought it was reasonably priced and more trendy than anything I tried on. After visiting numerous boutiques in the area, I was disappointed by the similarities of all the dresses, but I thought the dresses at Alfred Angelo were more unique. They have a wide selection and friendly staff. On the down side, I ordered a short dress and it took a little while for it to come in. They told me 10 weeks but it took more like 16. When it did arrive it had a small stain that they removed with a Tide pen, but it was a little disappointing to need to do this for a new expensive gown. They tailor was less patient than I would have liked, however my dress fit perfectly and the bustle was well done.

I found my perfect dress at Alfred Angelo in Harrisburg, PA. As a plus size woman, it was very hard for me to find a dress that I felt good in. But at Alfred Angelos I found it! The assistant manager was such a sweetheart and Shakira (who also works there) was THE BEST! I had a courset dress and Shakira laced me up even the day of my wedding and made my curves look amazing! Needless to say, my husband couldn't keep his eyes off of me the entire night. :) The price of my dress was so much cheaper than I expected! It was a relief when they told me the price! I would recommend Alfred Angelo to any bride looking for a special dress for their special day!

I bought my wedding dress at Alfred Angelo's in Harrisburg. I fell in love with my dress the moment I put it on. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dress was a little bit out of my price range but the quality and detail of the dress was well worth it. The only thing that I didn't like is that alterations were very expensive. I didn't want to risk going somewhere else with a dress like mine with all the beading and detail.

I would just like to preface this review by saying that I do not believe that all Alfred Angelo's have such poor service and professionalism. I know that people have had good experiences at the Harrisburg Alfred Angelo but I did not. If you look at my other reviews, I am perfectly honest and a fairly EASY bride but if you can't live up to your promises, they are worthless to me. In short (because it is a long story)... I had to buy my dress very early because I don't live in the country. The staff told us to store the dress out of the light, in a dry dark place. We of course followed these directions and thought nothig of it. Two weeks before the wedding I got home and we took the dress out of the bag (that was provided by the company) and some of (not all, but enough that you could visibly see) the silver thread on the dress had tarnished and turned black. We went into the store to talk to them after having them tell us on the phone that it must be shadows on the dress and that we needed to take the dress to another room. Once we arrived at the store they accused us of keeping the wedding dress in a damp basement. I don't know about anyone else-- buty WHY in your right mind you keep at $1200 dress in a damp basement? In any case, we left the dress with them so that they could figure out a solution and they said they would call back the next day. They didn't call back the next day, they didn't call back the day after that, I called back and they said they would call back again. When they didn't call back, I went in for my fitting (which I paid extra for since it was rush order) and they told me that I sholudn't have come in (7 days before the wedding) because they didn't know what to do about my dress. They didn't call me to tell me the appointment was cancelled. Then they told me I could pick another dress (not the same one, a different one). I refused and told them to fix the problem. THey didn't call again so finally I had to get my parents involved. Luckly the 'disconstinued' dress that I had that was 'impossible' to find was magically shipped 4 days before the wedding and I had my dress. Although I am extremely happy to have had my dress, I was less impressed with the quality of the stitching. IN the middle of the reception the stitching that holds the material with the zipper and the dress together came apart. I had to hold my dress up the resto the night with safety pins. I loved my dress even though there were stitching problems, it was easily fixable. I was however extremely extremely disappointed with the service, responsiveness and professionalism of the staff.

The people who helped me pick out a gown were amazing. They were helpful and did not push extra items just for a sale. Also, their in-house seamstress was great.

I had Melissa out of Harrisburg, absolute sweetheart. everytime i went in with a bridesmaid she had my dress ready for me just to wear=) they made me feel like a princess everytime i was in there!!!! i tried on two dressed and knew right away. i told melissa what i was looking for and the second dress she gave me was it!!!!

I bought my dress at a sale (one of the "save up to $300" sales). I had tried on a lot of dresses and had sort of fallen in love with one that was way above my price range at a different salon, and I was not particularly pleased with the first few I tried on at Alfred Angelo. The gal had pulled a nice one that I kept in the back for a while because it looked really expensive, but, when I asked, it was actually $100 less than my price point. I tried it on, cried immediately, and bought it. I ended up only wearing it for my ceremony, but it photographed beautifully and I got a lot of compliments on it!

I absolutely love the dress that I got from Alfred Angelo. When we went in for our first appointment we had a great salesperson who was very attentive. It seems like every time we went in since then there's been new people and the service was always slightly less satisfactory. I didn't have any specific problems with my dress but my bridesmaids all ordered their dresses from Alfred Angelo as well and a few of them came in the wrong sizes and/or the order wasn't placed and the dress arrived late. We ran into a lot of snags and headaches along the way. Overall they offer beautiful dresses at really good prices but the service could certainly be better.

Alfred Angelo was the last stop I had in mind when I was looking for a dress since I thought the prices were not going to be in my budget but I went in on a whim (after I spent 2 1/2 hours trying things on at David's Bridal)..I knew in my mind what I was looking for and I found on my first search through the racks...I tried it on and I fell in love with the dress even more...then came the hard part checking the price but to my surprise it was reasonable and I didn't have a heart attack over it...I also purchased my bridesmaid's dresses here too...the only real feedback I would like to give would be be aware when you go in, if you don't have an appointment you might get ignored by the staff

I loved my dress. I bought it during a sale and got it at an amazing price! I also bought my tiara there as well at a great price. I recomend buying when they have a sale.

I bought my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses from the Alfred Angelo store in Harrisburg. I had a fantastic experience with everything about my dress - even the seamstress, Nancy, went above and beyond to make alterations that ensured I liked the way the dress looked on me. My bridesmaids, however had less positive experiences at different Alfred Angelo stores - the one in Rochester, NY is particularly terrible on the quality of service and professionalism front. The store in Allentown/Whitehall convinced another bridesmaid to order her dress in the wrong color combination, and it took a few tries to eliminate that record from their computer system. Despite those issues, I would highly recommend the Harrisburg location.
